Yala's menu calls it Mom's Way: the house blend brewed on hot sand. The Evil Eye adds a cardamom cream top.

Yala opened its Silver Lake café at 3814 W Sunset Blvd in December 2025, a second home after Studio City. The founder calls it an ode to parents from Baghdad.
Order the sand coffee the way the menu names it, Mom's Way: the house blend ground extra fine and brewed on hot sand, grounds left in the cup. Oat, almond and pistachio milks are made in house.
