Two Saturdays, one early and one late. The Jameel opens Salah Elmur's new solo show with a conversation and a new sound commission, and it is free. In Downtown, Honeycomb Hi-Fi has N-YOU-UP on the decks until 3am.
They fit together. The opening finishes at 8pm, and the bar is a short drive away.

Salah Elmur opening at the Jameel
The opening preview of the Sudanese painter's solo show, Just as the Heart of a Mango is a Stone. The writer Melissa Gronlund talks with the artist, then Asim Eltayeb Gurashi performs a new Art Jameel sound commission.

Honeycomb Hi-Fi
N-YOU-UP is a French producer who blends house with jazz, funk and disco. He plays the bar's Ojas sound system, with Matt Abergel's Japanese kitchen alongside.

Leave the Jameel at 8pm and book Honeycomb for 9pm. After 10pm the bar is over-21s only and asks for physical ID, so bring it.
